Weird Artist Habits #16-20

16. Unusual hair – matted, dreaded, natural, dyed, bejeweled, ungroomed, unusually long or short, anything outside the mainstream.

17. Their house is a museum.  A Rembrandt or Basquiat is conspicuously displayed in their foyer.  If  they tell you it’s a ________(artist’s name), and if you don’t know who it is, just say, “Wow!” and you’ve won their favor.

18. Their house is Applebee’s.  A junk store sneezed on their walls.  Knick knacks, old street signs, and general refuge is strewn all over the place or in strategic locations.

19. Overabundance of or unusual jewelry.  They may wear a handmade Rwandan earring or an armful of bangles.   

20. Gets that “special glow” around art.  I’ve been told twice that I’m glowing when I go to a dope exhibit opening.  Good art makes my proverbial baby jump.
